In the departments, we divide children into small groups so that educators can be more present in play to see each individual's learning and help them develop as much as possible. Children should not only be stimulated, they should also be challenged in their learning and offered a safe and developmental education. We work on a project basis together with children and use pedagogical documentation as a working tool. It is important to us that we involve children in pedagogical documentation, where children get to reflect on their own learning process. Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you work together with preschool teachers based on current governing documents and implement and develop pedagogical activities. You help plan and conduct activities that promote children's development and learning. You are responsible for providing children with a safe and secure environment in the preschool. Your main tasks will be to: Help children develop their social skills such as cooperation, sharing, and resolving conflicts. You participate in documenting children's development and learning where you observe and note children's progress and challenges. Contact with guardians. Assist with meals, rest time, and hygiene. As a childcare worker, you have an invaluable role where you help and inspire children in their activities. It is an important and varied job where you need to be prepared for no two days being the same. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a childcare worker through upper secondary or post-secondary education equivalent to at least 1300 points. As a person, we see that you take responsibility and actively participate in creating a developmental, fun, and educational preschool. You have a good ability to see all children and take their individual conditions into account.
