Submit your application today! Your Assignment In this role, you will collaborate with other childcare workers and a preschool teacher who leads the educational work. Together, you will design an education that is joyful, educational, and fun for each child. Over time, you will work with children of all ages as we rotate between departments based on the facility's needs. You actively participate in and drive forward pedagogical development work and pedagogical documentation according to the preschool curriculum. You participate in planning and evaluating the work. You have daily contact with guardians and participate in parent meetings and developmental conversations. You contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child at the preschool. Every child shall receive what every child is entitled to – an education that is equal and of good quality in a safe environment. Your Experience For this position, we require that you have: - upper secondary or post-secondary education as a childcare worker - experience working as a childcare worker in preschool - knowledge of the curriculum's content and understanding of how it can be implemented in practice - experience with and knowledge of pedagogical documentation - good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is a merit if you also have: - good digital competence with experience using digital tools - experience working with children of all ages - experience with and knowledge of children with NDD diagnoses - experience working with norm-critical work methods - knowledge of child development - experience contributing to the preschool's development and quality improvement efforts. You are self-directed, take own initiatives, and take responsibility for your time and your tasks. You are solution-focused, contribute with ideas and improvement suggestions, and initiate activities that promote children's development. Your pedagogical insight helps you understand each child's unique needs and adapt activities to support their learning in the best way. You are quality-conscious. You always base your decisions on what is best for the facility and the children, and you are driven by ensuring the children receive the best possible preschool with quality education and a safe environment.
