Preschool Teacher for Kista Preschool Area Welcome to us Do you want to help give Stockholm's youngest residents a safe, educational and meaningful start in life? In the Kista preschool area, we work together to create a preschool where every child has the opportunity to develop, learn and feel included. Through care, education and close collaboration, we create meaningful contexts for the children at our preschools every day. The Kista preschool area consists of nine preschools. In each work team, at least one preschool teacher works together with one to two preschool assistants. Two special educators support the operation, as well as a management organization consisting of a rector and three assistant rectors. Now we are looking for several experienced preschool assistants who want to contribute to our ongoing work. Your role We are looking for preschool assistants for both permanent positions and time-limited positions in the form of temporary substitute work or special fixed-term employment. As a preschool assistant, you are an important part of the preschool's education and teaching. Together with preschool teachers and other colleagues, you create a safe, stimulating and developmental everyday where the children's needs, interests, participation and influence are in focus. You are expected to be active and present in interaction with the children and take responsibility for implementing and developing the teaching together with the work team. You notice the children's different conditions and needs and contribute to the development of teaching, environments and working methods so that all children are given the opportunity to succeed and develop. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a three-year professional diploma as a preschool assistant from the children and leisure program with at least 2,500 points previous experience working in preschool very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have experience working in a municipal operation. We also see that you have a clear child focus and meet the children with curiosity, commitment and respect. You take initiative and see opportunities to create teaching and learning based on what happens in the children's group and in everyday life. You take responsibility for your assignment and actively contribute to the work team's common efforts. For you, collaboration is a natural part of the professional role and you can both listen to others' perspectives and express your own in a professional and constructive way. You have a holistic view and understand that we together are responsible for quality – in the work team, at the preschool and throughout the preschool area. Other information The preschools' opening hours are 06:30–18:30 and working hours are scheduled within these times. You need to be able to work full-time and be able to work both at opening and closing. You also need to be prepared to work with all age groups in the preschool, that is, children between 1 and 6 years old.
