Description We are now looking for a childcare provider to join Hagaborg Preschool. As a childcare provider, you play an important role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop as individuals. By engaging in children's play and activities, you help them develop social and emotional skills while building their confidence and independence. Welcome to Hagaborg Preschool! Our newly built preschool is located adjacent to Hagaborg School, near Klarälven, and offers a safe and inspiring environment for children ages 1–6 years. The outdoor environment is an important part of our education and is actively used to promote children's play, learning, and development. With us, we work together across department boundaries for the benefit of all children. Through close collaboration and active work with safety and equal treatment, we create an inclusive environment where every child is seen, listened to, and given the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions. Responsibilities As a childcare provider, you work together with preschool teachers based on current governing documents and implement and develop educational activities. You help plan and carry out activities that promote children's development and learning. You are responsible for providing children with a safe and secure environment at the preschool. Your main tasks will be to: Help children develop their social skills, such as cooperating, sharing, and resolving conflicts. Participate in documenting children's development and learning by observing and noting children's progress and challenges. Communication with guardians. Assist with meals, rest time, and hygiene. As a childcare provider, you have an invaluable role in helping and inspiring children in their activities. It is important and varied work where you need to be prepared for no two days to be the same. Qualifications To be eligible for the position, you must be a trained childcare provider through upper secondary or post-secondary education equivalent to at least 1300 credits. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for your assignment and sees what needs to be done in the operation. You are confident in planning and organizing your work while being able to adapt when circumstances change. You actively contribute to creating a safe, educational, and stimulating environment for children and have an interest in developing working methods that strengthen the quality of the operation. In this role, you build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You work well with others, share your knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment. You can guide groups of children in a clear and safe manner, create engagement in activities, and be a good role model in daily work at the preschool.
