About the Position
With us, play is the foundation for learning, and we use play intentionally in education. As an educator, you are present, active, and co-investigating together with the children. Through planned and spontaneous play, we create play worlds and learning environments where children develop language, imagination, and social skills.
Social sustainability permeates our activities, and we actively work toward safety, good relationships, and a strong sense of community where every child feels seen, included, and valued.
We use a conscious language development approach where read-alouds, conversations, and play strengthen children's language, concepts, and vocabulary. Together we develop our activities through an investigative and reflective approach focused on high quality and equity.
As a preschool teacher, you play an important role in our daily educational work. You work closely with the children and help create a safe, learning, and development-oriented environment where all children can thrive. You collaborate closely with your colleagues and build good relationships with parents/guardians. The role also includes participating in documentation work and following up on children's learning as part of our systematic quality work.

You have a clear focus on children and see each child as a competent individual with unique potential. You want to help develop preschool education and create good conditions for children's learning and development.
As a person, you are engaged, curious, and solution-oriented. You collaborate well with others, build good relationships, and actively contribute to the development of our activities.
You have:
- Preschool teacher certification
- A clear focus on children and recognize each child's potential
- An engaged, positive, and solution-oriented approach
- Good ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
It is advantageous if you have:
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in preschool
- Experience with and knowledge of working with children with special needs

About the Employment
This is a permanent position at 80%. Selection may be made on an ongoing basis.
Before employment with us, we will ask you to provide a printout from the Police Records (Belastningsregistret). The printout we require is for "School or preschool," and you need to request it yourself, which you can find on the police website: Belastningsregistret - begära utdrag | Polismyndigheten (polisen.se)
Once you have received your printout, you will present it to the recruiting manager. The fastest way to get your printout is to use the e-service and order it online with BankID.
You also need to show a valid passport or national ID card issued by police at the interview.
Emyhills Preschool is located in Kävlinge, in a calm and safe residential area with proximity to both nature and good transportation connections. With us, children's curiosity, play, communication, and exploration are at the center.
We work thematically based on a shared children's book that follows the child group throughout the school year. This creates a clear thread throughout the education and gives children rich opportunities to imagine, explore, and delve deeper. Through language, play, and imagination, children develop their ability to communicate, interact, and express their ideas. The thematic approach makes the curriculum goals concrete and alive in everyday life.
We work in smaller child groups based on the children's ages. This creates safety, close relationships, and good conditions for participation and development.
With a focus on children's learning and development, we continuously develop our learning environments, play worlds, and work with social strategies based on the children's ages, experiences, and needs. Our education gives children the opportunity to grow step by step through play, exploration, and community. The goal is for every child to develop in a safe, stimulating, and meaningful educational environment.
