Childcare Worker Needed – Full-Time Temporary Position Hattstugan Montessori Preschool in Täby is seeking a dedicated childcare worker for a limited-time temporary position. About the Position We are looking for a childcare worker for a full-time (100%) temporary position covering a colleague's parental leave. Employment Period: 2026-08-31 – 2026-10-30 You will work in our department for older children (ages 3–5) alongside a licensed preschool teacher and a Montessori educator. Together, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inspiring, and developmental learning environment where children's curiosity, independence, and desire to learn are in focus. Responsibilities As a childcare worker with us, you will: Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for the children. Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities based on the National Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö 25). Contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and parents/guardians. Participate in the preschool's daily routines and development work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is trained as a childcare worker or has equivalent experience. Has strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Is responsible, flexible, and demonstrates professional conduct. Has a genuine interest in children's development and learning. Enjoys working in a team and contributes to a positive work environment. Experience from preschool is a plus. Experience with or interest in Montessori pedagogy is also an asset.
