Our goal is to nurture secure, curious, creative, and initiative-taking children who experience joy in learning and exploring together with others through play. Our preschool works with learning for sustainable development and teaches based on the curriculum inspired by Reggio Emilia pedagogy since 1994 under the same leadership and ownership (Moa Gehlin), which ensures high quality and a structured, safe preschool that evolves with current developments in the preschool field. According to Moa Gehlin, an important part of the success at Preschool Gläntan is the staff's conscious approach to children and sustainable learning. The goal is a preschool with co-researching, active educators who encourage and inspire children to ask productive questions. Regardless of which prioritized goal the preschool works toward, the foundation of our work is that children learn through discovery and experimentation in unique environments. Our team consists of cheerful, lively, creative people including six preschool teachers, one atelier instructor, and five childcare providers. Preschool Gläntan is a meeting place with three departments for children aged 1-6 years. Job Description This is a full-time position. Your daily work involves participating in pedagogical activities and contributing to the preschool's programs. We see you building and developing learning environments with your own ideas that inspire and invite exploration and play with children always at the center. Qualifications Previous experience working with children It is a merit if you are a certified childcare provider or have begun studies in this field.
