Welcome to us Preschool Area 1 consists of 11 preschools in Traneberg, Ulvsunda, Johannesfred, Minneberg, Mariehäll, and Bällsta. The preschool area is led by a rector and four assistant rectors, which enables close leadership. There are also two special education teachers available as support. The unit consists of approximately 130 employees and approximately 600 children, and we are now seeking a childcare provider for one of our preschools. We're looking for someone with commitment and experience working at a preschool. You will be employed in Preschool Area 1, and your placement may change based on operational needs. All our preschools are characterized by an open, trusting preschool environment. We take advantage of children's interests, desire, and eagerness to learn, and we strengthen children's confidence in their own abilities. Your role As a childcare provider: - you contribute to ensuring that daily life at the preschool runs smoothly and that care and daily pedagogical work are based on children's participation and choices. - you work together with other colleagues at the preschool to create a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child and for the entire group of children. - you participate in pedagogical development work and pedagogical documentation according to the preschool's curriculum and operational objectives. - you are engaged and actively participate in planning and evaluation of the work. - you contribute during parent meetings and development conversations. - you are engaged, child-focused, and service-oriented in daily contacts with guardians. The preschool's opening hours are 6:30 - 18:30, and your work schedule may include opening and/or closing shifts. You will also participate in staff meetings until 6:00 PM once a month. Your competence and experience - You must have upper secondary education in a childcare program, children and youth, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. - You have documented several years of experience working as a childcare provider and are also accustomed to documenting and have created learning logs. - Computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written, are required. - We will place great emphasis on your competence, experience, and personal qualities. - As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and responsible. - Your child-focus is clear and you have a positive attitude toward your work, your team, and the entire preschool where you see cooperation between departments as a great asset. - You have a good ability to build professional relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. - You work with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and flexible manner, listening, communicating, and handling conflicts in a constructive way. To work at our preschools, you must provide a certificate from the Police National Criminal Record and Suspicion Register. You order the certificate yourself and it must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
