Work Tasks We are seeking an engaged childcare provider for a one-year substitute position at our recreation center. You have a good understanding of the recreation center's mission and how care, learning, and social development interact throughout the students' day. . Work in the recreation center and during school hours in close collaboration with educators . Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment . Meet students with a calm, low-affect approach and support them in social situations . Participate in planning and development of the activities . Collaborate with colleagues and guardians in a professional manner About the Facility Furuborg School is the municipality's newest school and includes grades F-6 as well as adapted primary school. The facility has approximately 370 wonderful students and an engaged and competent staff. At Furuborg School, shared responsibility, competence, and commitment are self-evident. Qualifications We want you as an applicant to Have upper secondary education as a childcare provider or recreation leader Have knowledge of the recreation center's governing documents and pedagogical core Work calmly, safely, and with a low-affect approach Be flexible, responsible, and cooperative Have a genuine interest in children's development and wellbeing It is meritorious if you have knowledge of and experience working with children with diabetes. Other Information We require you to provide a certificate from the criminal record and suspicion register before employment. Nykvarns Municipality is a Finnish administrative area and we consider it meritorious if you speak Finnish.
