Children in preschool should receive safe education where care, development and learning form a whole. Work as a childcare worker means that you together with your work team design safe and developing education for the children at the preschool. The work is challenging, exciting, creative and takes place in close collaboration with your work team and colleagues at the preschool. As a childcare worker you are part of a work team and participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching offered to the children. You collaborate with the work team and together you offer the children fun and educational teaching and instruction. Qualifications We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare worker or you who are studying to become a childcare worker, alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is important: that you are familiar with our governing document, Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö18), that you are a safe and clear leader, have an easy time taking your own initiative, are positive and have confidence in children's different competencies, that you care about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good cooperation skills, that you use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work, that you use picture support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication), that you are interested in developing the preschool. Very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written is a requirement for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
