We are now seeking two child care workers for our Western Visby preschools area. The area consists of the following units: Asken, Humlan, Linden, Kabyssen, Heden, and Törnekvior. All preschools are centrally located in Visby. The area is led by a management team consisting of a principal, two assistant principals, and two special education specialists.

One position is initially linked to the Kabyssen preschool, but as a child care worker with us, you will also be able to work at other preschools in the area. The other position is initially linked to the Heden special preschool, which is also located at the Kabyssen preschool. At the Heden special preschool, there are places for children with disabilities.

Your Tasks
As a child care worker, you are part of a pedagogical team of preschool teachers and child care workers. In your role as a child care worker, you complement the preschool teacher in planning, conducting, developing, and following up on instruction based on the needs of the child group, the preschool's curriculum, and the administration's quality work.
As part of the preschool's team, you help create the preschool's pedagogical environments and participate in development conversations, parent meetings, and collaboration between home and preschool. Together, we create a high-quality preschool that children and parents can look back on as a positive and developmental time in their family's life.
Your role may include supervising students from child care worker training programs who are doing internships in our operations. It also includes collaborating with preschool teachers to support children with special needs in pedagogical activities.
Who Are You?
We are looking for you—a driven, professionally trained child care worker. You understand and master Swedish in both speech and writing. You also need to have digital skills, both for your own work and for work with children. We would like you to have experience working as a child care worker in preschools. We also value experience working with children with special needs and experience with alternative communication methods, such as TAKK. You should also have a driver's license.
As a person, you should have excellent teamwork skills and be approachable in your interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are attentive, curious, and development-oriented. You take initiative, work well in teams, and build good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You should focus on children and believe in their abilities and competence. You can be guided by preschool teachers in your work.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
