Pediatric Nurse/District Nurse at Spånga Tensta BVC Are you the one we're looking for? Are you a nurse with specialist training in child and youth health or district nursing who wants to work in child health services at a clinic and make a difference? We offer both traditional BVC work and an expanded home visit program, and you might be the person we're seeking. About the clinic: At Spånga Tensta BVC, 4 specialist-trained nurses with extensive BVC experience work together. We are a family center that has the benefit of sharing a building with midwives, parenting advisors, and open preschool, whom we collaborate and cooperate with in our daily work. This enriches the BVC work further and is something we value highly. At our BVC, we serve all families and meet families with different backgrounds and cultures, which provides great variety in the work. We work from a holistic view of people and strive for secure well-being in children and confident adults. We want to provide our families with high accessibility, participation, and continuity. We offer an expanded home visit program to all families in the area, which means that these families are offered six home visits during the child's first 17 months, conducted together with a parenting advisor from Stockholm City. Spånga Tensta BVC is also part of BHV Stockholm North, which includes 15 BVC clinics. This enables knowledge exchange between clinics, and together we continuously work on improvement and development activities based on our clinics. We have flexible hours and individual schedules that you can largely influence based on the clinic's needs. About the position: As a BVC nurse with us, you will be offered exciting work where you have great opportunities to develop. You will work independently with your own responsibility for your work area while also having colleagues and present leadership around you. Training is offered continuously during employment. We work based on child health services' health mission, which includes home visits, health check-ups for children at key ages, vaccinations, and parent group activities. We base our work on the needs of children and families. We work in the Take Care journal system. Qualifications: You must be a nurse with specialist training in child and youth health or district nursing. Previous experience working in child health services is meritorious. Employment type: Permanent position. Full-time. Part-time can be discussed. Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may be applied. Start date by agreement. Personal qualities: We are looking for someone interested in preventive and health-promoting work. BVC work is largely individual but is also highly teamwork. The ability to see the clinic's needs is a positive quality that is valued. You enjoy building relationships with children and families and appreciate collaborating with other professionals. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services: - A background check will be conducted before employment decision according to SLSO's overarching instructions for background checks at employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
