Mikaeli Health Center is located in the western part of Örebro and is a well-functioning health center with a family-like atmosphere. With just over 8,000 registered patients, you will have the opportunity to work close to the residents of the area, which gives you the chance to work personally, build relationships, and make a difference in people's daily lives. You will meet a varied patient population that provides both breadth and depth in your work as a midwife. We are approximately 40 employees who enjoy working together. Responsibilities
We offer you, as a midwife, varied work in primary care. Your responsibilities include pregnancy check-ups, group parental support, reproductive and sexual health, gynecological cervical screening, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, medication management, and counseling.
As a midwife with us, you are part of the family center and collaborate with various actors from health care and the municipality, such as through joint home visits and parent groups. Together we create the best possible health support for our families. You will work in an environment with short decision paths, which gives you good opportunities to influence your work day and the direction of the operations.
Qualifications
Licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Class B driver's license. Experience in primary care is a merit.

About the Operations
Mikaeli Health Center is part of the Nearby Care Area. The area is tasked with providing care that is common, frequently recurring, or chronic and therefore needs to be geographically close to patients. The area is home to the hub for health care's transition towards nearby care. The idea of nearby care is to bring care within hospitals, health centers, and municipalities closer together. We should meet people with complex needs and chronic illness in an even better way and work to promote health and prevent illness for all county residents.
