About the Operation
The clinic conducts investigation and treatment of gynecological and obstetric conditions. Our mission is to provide qualified specialist care. We receive patients with general gynecological complaints, investigate infertility and incontinence, perform outpatient operations, and follow up treatment of cell changes. The care includes day patients within obstetrics and gynecology. Our ultrasound midwife performs obstetric ultrasounds and other specialist maternity care is also provided here. We have an abortion clinic and care for patients undergoing investigation for malignancy or receiving treatment for gynecological cancer who need daytime care. The clinic has approximately 5,000 visits per year.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a licensed midwife who is curious and has a genuine interest in developing within the clinic's areas of work. Development areas can include dysplasia, abortion services, and obstetric ultrasound. Women's healthcare is a county-wide clinic and we constantly work to find good solutions for quality-assured care with focus on both patients and working environment.
Job responsibilities include telephone advice, handling matters in 1177, assisting physicians with gynecological examinations, being present at outpatient operations, care of day patients, and specialist maternity care.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed midwife. You enjoy working in a team but are independent, responsible, methodical, and have a professional approach. It is meritorious if you have ultrasound competence or have interest in obstetric ultrasound as we need to train a new midwife for the future. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, service mindedness, ability to take own initiative, and together with the team contribute to our good interdisciplinary cooperation.
