The clinic is organizationally placed under the gynecology clinic and offers a broad and varied scope of work within gynecological outpatient care, abortion care, and counseling. At our clinic, the midwife plays a central role in operations, with great opportunities to influence and further develop work methods and care processes. Centralsjukhuset i Kristianstad (CSK) is northeastern Skåne's emergency hospital. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified staff with approximately 2,600 engaged employees. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the closeness and sense of community of a smaller hospital. The hospital provides residents in its catchment area with care with short waiting times across all specialties. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES With us, you get a varied and developmental role where you work with women's health throughout life. The operations include handling of legal abortions and missed abortions as well as work at the midwife clinic including gynecological cervical screening, contraceptive counseling and insertion as well as insertion and removal of IUDs and contraceptive rods. The role also includes prolapse ring replacements, digital counseling via 1177, and telephone counseling to patients. You will handle referrals in close collaboration with physicians and medical secretaries and have the opportunity to specialize in particular areas of responsibility and team assignments, for example within endometriosis. Together, we build a modern, accessible, and patient-focused clinic where the midwife's expertise is at the center. The position is characterized by great variety in work tasks and involves close collaboration with experienced midwives and gynecologists. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed midwife with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. It is a requirement that you have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, and that you have basic IT skills. Experience in gynecological outpatient care, abortion care, contraceptive counseling, telephone counseling, and work in 1177 is a merit. You also need to have an interest in women's health and a desire to contribute to the development of a new operation with a focus on quality, accessibility, and patient-centered care. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and responsible, with good ability to prioritize and make your own decisions. You have a solution-oriented approach and thrive in an operation where change and development are a natural part of everyday life.
