About the Service Within the regional services, there are 7 positions distributed across our three locations where approximately 100 employees work. The target group is children up to 18 years of age with permanent functional impairments caused by congenital/acquired diseases and injuries to the central nervous system, developmental disorders, as well as individuals with autism spectrum disorder. In our work, we start from each individual's unique needs and conditions and have specialist knowledge about how functional impairments can affect daily life, health, and development. The work is conducted in teams where personnel with medical, educational, psychological, and social expertise collaborate. In your role as child neurologist/pediatrician, you have patient responsibility, which means you are responsible for medical assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients. You work in a team with, among others, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, case workers, psychologists, special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and medical secretaries. Through our services, we want to reduce the difficulties that functional impairments can cause in daily life, create conditions for a good life, and participation in society. We are now seeking a pediatrician/child neurologist for regional habilitation services. The position is a one-year full-time substitute position with start date by agreement. You will participate in a regional referral group where working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime. Mentoring will be provided during the introduction.
