Our operations are growing and we are now seeking an engaged and driven specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine who wants to develop with us and provide Uppsala's children with the very best care. Job Responsibilities With us, you avoid hospital night shifts and heavy administration. Instead, you get to focus on what you do best – the clinical encounter with children and their parents. You will work with general pediatric outpatient care, which includes investigations and follow-ups of everything from asthma, allergies, and growth issues to more complex matters such as pain and neuropsychiatric conditions. What makes us special is our unique community. You work side by side with our pediatric nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, psychologists, midwives, and with the general practice clinic. Because we have everything under one roof, we can quickly discuss questions between the different services – something that is greatly appreciated by both us and families. What you will do: Provide planned and acute specialist care for children and young people (0–18 years). Work in close, unpretentious collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. Be a trusted sounding board and medical support for our pediatric nurses and others. Supervisor junior doctors (ST-läkare) in General Medicine. Contribute your ideas on how we can develop the clinic and become even better. Opportunity exists for greater medical responsibility, authority, and improvement/change work locally and within Region Uppsala. Qualifications Who are you? We are looking for you – a confident pediatrician who enjoys the dynamics of outpatient care. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You have a warm, pedagogical, and attentive manner – you understand that good cooperation with parents is required to help the child in the best way. You are comfortable with both independent work and teamwork. Previous outpatient care experience is a merit.
