The Placement Unit consists of three teams, each with its own team leader, working with children and young people placed outside their own homes. Two of the teams work with children placed in foster care, and each team consists of four child case workers and three foster care coordinators. Additionally, there is a dedicated foster care coordinator responsible for recruiting foster families. The third team, the Placement Team, works with children and young people placed in other forms of care such as HVB homes and supported housing. The team consists of four social workers and one school coordinator.

We are now looking for a child case worker for the Placement Unit.
We offer you
With us, you will develop and work alongside engaged colleagues. You will receive regular case supervision from team leaders and managers who are nearby. As support, there are also two methods developers in the area. As a new employee, you will go through an well-established introduction program that gives you good conditions to methodically enter into work tasks and routines.

Your role
As a child case worker, you follow up on care for children in foster homes. You build trusting relationships, maintain contact with parents and networks, and collaborate with foster care coordinators. The work is conducted according to SoL and LVU. Travel is included in the position – primarily in Stockholm but also in the rest of the country.
Your competence and experience
For this position, you must have:
Social Work degree
Experience working with public authority functions related to children and young people
We consider it advantageous if you have:
Experience working according to Signs of Safety
Class B driver's license
You are organized and ensure that your cases are handled in time and with quality. You are goal- and results-oriented with a clear focus on creating the best possible conditions for children and families. Furthermore, you are relationship-building and have the ability to build trust and good collaborations, both with clients and their networks. In addition to this, we value that you are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and other partners to achieve common goals.
