About the job We are now seeking an experienced colleague for one of our reception units within Children and Youth! Reception 1 offers diverse and meaningful work with children and their families. Our office is located in Hjällbo and the reception consists of ten social workers, two senior social workers, and a unit manager, which enables close supervision and methodological guidance both in group and individual settings. The Children and Youth Reception 1 unit is characterized by broad expertise, a good work climate where employees are highly engaged, and management with many years of experience. We work for the best interests of the child and have close and unpretentious collegial support. We work based on the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act, as well as using the approach Children's Needs in Focus (BBiC), Signs of Safety, LÖSA!, and in accordance with current delegation regulations. We receive welfare reports and applications concerning children aged 0-17 years, meet families, and conduct risk and protection assessments regarding children's situations, as well as ensure legal certainty in preliminary assessments as a basis for determining whether an investigation under the Social Services Act should be initiated or not. We also handle certain statements. An important task is also to prevent misinformation by meeting those we serve and other professionals in their settings to create dialogue and provide accurate information about social services work. We provide good service, give advice and support to those seeking contact with the social services activity for children and their families, and according to the new Social Services Act, guide families who wish and are receptive to support towards society's support services. The administration actively works with work time innovations and from autumn, the unit will participate in the 4-dayweek project.
