Railway Technician in Hallsberg

Starting September 1, 2026, Infranord is responsible for the basic maintenance of the railway facility on the Western Main Line between Hallsberg and Laxå as well as Hallsberg's rail yard. We are now looking for railway technicians who want to help ensure a safe, reliable, and well-functioning railway. The position is based in Hallsberg. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Railway Technician, you will be part of a team working with the operation and maintenance of railways as well as some new construction. The position involves participating in rail yard reconstructions, track construction, track welding, rail and sleeper replacements. Managing and correcting deviations that arise is a natural part of the work. With support from your supervisor, you ensure that work is carried out in accordance with laws, regulations, and procedures that govern the execution of our assignments. Our assignment sometimes requires us to be on-site quickly, which is why we primarily seek you if you live in Hallsberg and the surrounding area or are willing to relocate here.
