WORK TASKS In March 2022, the new Burlövsbadet opened as a modern and vibrant meeting place with the theme Life and Movement. Here we welcome people of all ages and with different backgrounds and circumstances. Our main visitor groups are the general public, the municipality's schools, and the local community organizations. Burlövsbadet offers, among other things, school swimming for the municipality's students in preschool and grade 2, recreational swimming, swimming lessons, water training, baby swim, mini swim, play, and rehabilitative activities. The facility also features a bistro and a modern gym with EGYM and two group training rooms—one for PRAMA and one for traditional group training. Our multi-basin pool is used for, among other things, baby swim, mini swim, water aerobics, rehabilitation, and swimming for people with disabilities. The operations are run in-house, and the facility has generous opening hours every day of the week. As a pool attendant, you work with the entire guest experience. Your main tasks are to provide our guests with a professional and welcoming reception, supervise the swimming hall, and ensure that the facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming. The work also includes service and sales at the reception and bistro. We are particularly looking for someone who, in addition to the pool attendant role, has competence or experience in one or more of the following areas: • swimming instruction • water aerobics and other water training • baby swim and mini swim Experience in gyms, group training, or other instructor-led activities is also a merit. As an hourly pool attendant with us, you need to be flexible and willing to work within the facility's different operational areas. Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS To work as a pool attendant, you need to be a confident and safe swimmer. You must be able to complete the swimming and lifesaving tests required for the position. We are particularly looking for someone with training or experience in one or more of the following areas: • swimming instruction • water aerobics or other water training • baby swim and mini swim • pool supervision and lifesaving Training in any of these areas is a merit. We would like to see that you have documented work experience from pool, training, or health and wellness operations. It is also a merit if you have worked with children and young people, service and sales, or as a leader and instructor within, for example, community organizations or training operations. As a person, you enjoy working with people and have a professional and service-oriented approach. You show interest and understanding for others and find it easy to collaborate with different people. You actively contribute to team spirit and use your communication skills to create safety and well-being for both visitors and colleagues.
