About the Operation The swimming pool operation consists of eight facilities: Stadsparksbadet, Borås Simarena with the adjacent Alidebergsbadet, Sandaredsbadet, Dalsjöbadet, Kypegården, Viskaforsbadet, and Asklandabadet. Our goal is for all facilities to provide guests with an experience of quality and personal service. Our work teams consist of receptionists, pool attendants, pool managers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and unit managers. Stadsparksbadet is Borås city's central bathhouse - a vibrant meeting place for movement, relaxation, and joy for the whole family. Here, fitness enthusiasts, families with children, and swimming guests meet in a safe and welcoming environment where service and well-being are always in focus. We have several pools with different temperatures suitable for play, training, and recovery. Here it's easy to feel at home, year-round. Job Responsibilities Do you want to be part of our team that works together to provide the best possible service to both guests and colleagues? Then we are looking for you. A pool attendant's main task is to conduct swimming instruction for children and young people in Borås and surrounding areas in a pedagogical manner. In addition to swimming instruction, responsibilities include monitoring pools to maintain safety, leading water training, and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable visit. The position also includes certain reception duties. The role includes facility cleaning, where by keeping the facility clean we provide our visitors with a pleasant and positive experience. Working hours vary and you work both days, evenings, and weekends. Work time is rotating on a 3-week schedule. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a secondary education and experience working in a swimming pool facility, or with documented experience from the service industry. Swimming proficiency is a requirement, and to be considered for the position, lifeguard and CPR certification must be completed and approved. Swimming instructor training and experience leading group activities are advantageous. In your role as a pool attendant, service and safety are central parts of the work. A professional, service-oriented, and responsible approach is important, as is a genuine interest in meeting both children and adults. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues. The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues. The pace can periodically be high, which requires flexibility, good prioritization skills, and the ability to quickly adapt when the situation demands it.
