Welcome with your application! Work Tasks As a pool attendant with us, you'll have varied work where collaboration and responsibility are central. No two days are the same - and that's what makes the job so fun. You work together with colleagues in a team and help create a welcoming, safe, and pleasant environment. Work tasks include: Swimming instruction, swimming classes, lifeguarding, cashier duties, security work, customer service, reception, water activities, water treatment, facility maintenance, and daily upkeep. You work proactively on safety, inform visitors, and are ready to act in case of incidents - always with a focus on safety and good service. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is a good swimmer and wants to contribute to our goals and values, and who: Is responsible and service-oriented Has a professional and positive demeanor Enjoys working with people of different ages Has good collaboration skills and brings work enthusiasm to the team Is flexible and enjoys varied work Wants to learn new things Can take initiative and work independently and as part of a team It's a merit if you have a lifeguard, swimming instructor certification, or pool lifeguard certification. For this position, you must have a driver's license (category B) and good computer skills. A lifesaving test will be conducted during the recruitment process. More About the Position The position is a temporary contract at 100% until May 31, 2027. Start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled and include days, evenings, and weekends. A criminal record extract is required for this employment. The Culture, Parks and Recreation Department consists of three divisions with over 100 employees and has its own political board that is ultimately responsible. The department works closely internally, with other departments, external actors, organizations, and citizens. Within the Recreation Division and the "Swimming Pools" unit, responsibility for the Municipality's three swimming pools, outdoor pool, and wellness activities are centered. The Municipality has three swimming pools with different focuses, plus an outdoor pool, and together we develop the activities with a focus on quality, service, and community.
