JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a colleague and employee with us, you are responsible for creating a safe and pleasant experience for our visitors through varied and dynamic work. Your main responsibilities include: • Customer service and hospitality: You prioritize the guest and ensure that all visitors receive a welcoming and professional reception. You answer questions, handle cash transactions, and contribute to creating a positive atmosphere at the facility. • Swimming instruction: You conduct swimming lessons for schools and private individuals, including children, teenagers, adults, and baby swimming. If you lack experience, you will receive internal training to ensure you can deliver high-quality instruction. • Pool surveillance and safety: You monitor the pools to ensure visitor safety and intervene when necessary. This also involves handling emergency situations and being able to act quickly and correctly in water. • Facility maintenance and cleaning: An important part of the role is ensuring that the swimming facility's surfaces are clean, fresh, and safe. You are responsible for maintaining good hygiene through regular cleaning and minor maintenance work. • Café and sales: Your duties also include working in our café operation, where you manage sales and keep the café well-organized and inviting. • Business development: We actively encourage you to participate in improving and developing the facility. Your ideas and initiatives are valuable in our common goal to make the facilities even more attractive and visitor-friendly. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is at least 18 years old • has completed upper secondary education or equivalent education • has good swimming skills and comfort in water • has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • has experience working with computers and digital tools It is a merit if you have: • experience working as a pool manager or in swimming instruction • pool manager certification • swimming instructor certification or pool lifeguard certification • experience from café/restaurant operations, reception, or cleaning and hygiene In this role, it is crucial to have a good ability to understand and show consideration for others. You are responsive to our visitors' needs, put yourself in their situation, and treat them with kindness and respect. Furthermore, you are collaboration-oriented and always work toward common goals with your colleagues without ego. By adapting and finding solutions that work for everyone, you contribute to a positive and effective work environment. The ability to be solution-oriented is also central. You handle situations and challenges that arise quickly and efficiently and ensure you find sustainable solutions that benefit both the operation and our guests. It is also important that you are organized and work according to a clear plan. You organize and prioritize your tasks well, which ensures you meet deadlines and complete what you start in a thorough manner. This position is a permanent employment and involves work during daytime, evenings, and weekends.
