Description Backaskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school with approximately 350 students and 45 staff members. The school is centrally located on Hisingen, within cycling distance from the city center and with excellent and frequent bus connections. Our beautiful school from 1897 is modernly renovated and has a pleasant outdoor environment. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a teacher for mentorship and instruction in Swedish, mathematics, social studies, natural sciences, technology, and English in grade 3. You will collaborate with colleagues in the grade level and with other members of the team for grades F-3, as well as with student support staff. Mentorship is part of the position. This is a fixed-term employment for the school year 26/27. Here you will find an experienced and great group of colleagues who will welcome you! Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach in grade 3 in Swedish, mathematics, social studies, natural sciences, technology, and English. You take responsibility for maintaining good relations and communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. We welcome your application! To ensure you have the best possible start in your teaching career, you will participate in the Department of Elementary Education's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction gives you, as a newly graduated teacher, a network with other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
