Procurement Coordinator

We are now looking for a Procurement Coordinator for our logistics team in Vetlanda. About the role You will work operatively with purchasing and material supply and have daily contact with suppliers and internal functions. - Order and procure production-related materials - Follow up on purchase orders and ensure that deliveries occur as planned - Handle and follow up on replanning and deviations - Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers - Handle invoices and matching against purchase orders - Work with forecasts and inventory management - Follow up on and improve inventory balances and balance security - Contribute to the development of our purchasing patterns and information flows - Participate in inventory counts and improvement initiatives You will become an important link between production, purchasing, warehouse, and our suppliers. This is a permanent position. In your role, you will report to the Logistics Manager. The position is located at our office in Vetlanda. Experience in operational purchasing, material planning, production planning, or work in a manufacturing operation is a plus. However, the most important thing is how you work. We are looking for a person who both appreciates daily operational work and wants to be part of developing our ways of working. A day at work with us As a Procurement Coordinator, you need to be able to keep track of many things at once. It could involve following up on a late delivery, handling a changed need from production, checking an inventory balance, contacting a supplier, and at the same time ensuring that today's purchasing work gets done. It requires structure, responsibility-taking, and the ability to see for yourself what needs to be prioritized. You simply need to be a person who gets things done – and who follows up until they are complete.
