The Position We are seeking someone immediately for our group-wide work on strategy, transformation, and business development. The role will initially have a clear PMO focus, with responsibility for translating the commercial direction into concrete terms, creating structure, driving progress, and ensuring that our strategic initiatives are actually implemented and deliver results. The role involves structuring, coordinating, driving, and following up on prioritized initiatives at the group level, from analysis and planning to implementation and review. You thrive working closely with senior decision-makers while also collaborating easily with people throughout the organization. You will work closely with group management and report directly to the Group CEO. For Avonova, commercial value creation, sustainability, and business development go hand in hand. The company is owned by the private equity firm Norvestor and is in an exciting phase. Responsibilities Responsibilities vary between analysis, project management, problem-solving, coordination, facilitation, and follow-up. - Drive, coordinate, and facilitate strategic initiatives and transformation projects at the group level - Create structure, objectives, timelines, and clear responsibilities for prioritized initiatives - Ensure progress through ongoing monitoring of activities, results, and decisions - Identify problems, risks, and dependencies and work with the business to develop and drive solutions - Develop analyses and decision-making materials for the CEO and group management - Contribute to business development projects and other prioritized initiatives - Ensure that strategies and initiatives are translated into practice and contribute to economically, commercially, environmentally, and socially sustainable value creation - Handle monitoring and reporting of prioritized initiatives Qualifications - A requirement for the position is a bachelor's degree and preferably a master's degree in Economics, Finance, Industrial Economics, Management, or similar - A few years of relevant experience, with at least two years in, for example, management consulting, business development, PMO, transformation, or similar - Ability to move from strategy and analysis to implementation and follow-up and experience in project management - Analytically strong and accustomed to structuring complex issues - Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel and an interest in how AI can be used to develop working methods and analyses - An interest in ESG, sustainability, and how these issues can be integrated into business and value creation - Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing - Knowledge of Norwegian is an asset What We Offer With us, you get a central role in Avonova's continued development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in strategy, business development, and transformation.
