1 position(s). How do you get people to sort correctly, reduce their waste, and make sustainable choices in everyday life? These are questions we work with every day. Now we're looking for a Waste Advisor who wants to help us share knowledge, inspire change, and make waste issues easier to understand. In this role, you combine information, education, and collaboration with an important public mission. You meet residents, schools, property owners, and other target groups where your work contributes to us achieving the goals in the municipality's waste plan and creating conditions for a more sustainable future. YOUR ROLE As a Waste Advisor, you work to inform, educate, and guide various target groups on waste and sustainability. You plan and carry out information campaigns, training sessions, and projects that help residents and organizations make the right and sustainable choices. The work is varied and includes both strategic and practical elements. One day you might conduct training for schoolchildren or meet with property owners ahead of implementing on-site waste collection. The next day you work with information materials, update websites, or plan activities together with colleagues and external partners. You also participate in various networks and collaboration forums, follow developments in the waste sector, and contribute knowledge that helps the organization achieve its goals. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We're looking for someone with experience informing, educating, or otherwise conveying knowledge to different target groups. You have post-secondary education in an area relevant to the assignment, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You also have experience planning and carrying out activities, information campaigns, or similar assignments. For example, you may have worked as a teacher, educator, trainer, advisor, or in another role where you helped people understand, absorb, and apply new knowledge in practice. It's an advantage if you have experience with sustainability, environmental, or public information issues, but it's not required. What matters most is your ability to make complex information simple, relevant, and engaging for those who receive it. Since the role includes training, information campaigns, and collaboration with various stakeholders, you need to be comfortable speaking to groups and able to adapt your message to different audiences and situations. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, and feel confident communicating in English when necessary. You're comfortable with digital tools and can use them naturally as part of your work. As a person, you're proactive, collaborative, and organized. You enjoy both planning and implementing activities and have the ability to drive your work forward. We also believe you have a creative streak that helps you find new ways to spark interest and engagement around important issues. Since the work involves travel within the municipality, you need to have a driver's license (category B).
