We are looking for a waste engineer who wants to contribute to the management of hazardous waste and become an important part of the flow, where you will ensure that structure, logistics, and documentation are handled safely and efficiently. Your role is very important, and we are seeking someone who, in addition to knowledge of hazardous waste, also has experience/interest in leadership, is confident in yourself, and wants to be an important part of a larger context of different collaborating functions.
What is required:
You have some form of technical or environmental post-secondary education, preferably knowledge/experience from heavy industry/nuclear power, knowledge of regulations and actors in the field. We would appreciate it if you currently or previously have held some form of leadership position and preferably experience with project work. You should have a few years of work experience after completing post-secondary studies, but with the right drive, you could be relatively new to the job market.
Who are you as a person:
You are confident, calm, patient, and structured—a person who easily gains an overview of the whole and who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. You need to have an aptitude for documentation, processes, and strive for high quality. You are not afraid of new challenges, but you approach them with careful consideration and with safety in focus. The work may involve you taking responsibility for smaller sub-projects on your own, and if so, this is something that feels responsible and rewarding for your personal development. You of course have good knowledge of hazardous waste and nuclear power, or at least an interest and a strong willingness to learn more.
Other information:
Security-classified position,
some possibility of hybrid work (mostly on-site),
The workplace is not centrally located in Malmö, commuting distance,
Driver's license for a car is required,
Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing are required.
When: Start date by agreement, during spring.
