The Subsidy Fraud Division covers the areas of Crime Prevention, Control, Payment, and Reimbursement. The division's legal support function includes providing support to the units handling case reconsideration, litigation, and other operational areas. As a department legal counsel, you work closely with your lawyer colleagues, and we work together to ensure high quality and professional development in a sometimes high-paced work environment. Legal Support, Development, and Collaboration Department legal counsels in the Subsidy Fraud Division work with a broad range of legal issues within the areas mentioned above. Tasks include quality-assuring legal documents, supporting legal discussions, developing internal governing documents, responding to inquiries and referrals, handling Parliamentary Ombudsman referrals, developing training materials, serving as a sounding board for operations, etc. The legal support team also works strategically and systematically with information management related to the Administrative Procedure Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and GDPR. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency is gaining more authority and opportunities in combating subsidy fraud, which means legal development work is required in implementing reforms. The legal support team in the Subsidy Fraud Division should also contribute to regulatory development to prevent subsidy fraud. The work involves a special responsibility for correct and uniform application of social insurance and other applicable legislation. Based on legal governance, you are responsible for monitoring legal developments within the Subsidy Fraud Division. This includes developments in social insurance law as well as other legal matters affecting the agency's ability to prevent subsidy fraud. By providing close legal support to the division's staff and development activities, you contribute to good legal quality. You support managers and staff on legal matters and share your expertise. You contribute to good collaboration both within the division and with other divisions, including the agency's legal department. As a lawyer, you handle confidential information, which requires high standards of proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. We are looking for you who have a law degree (jur.kand.) or equivalent legal qualification are notarially qualified or have equivalent competence, for example similar experience from a court or government agency act on your own initiative and take responsibility for high-quality results have a systematic and careful approach to work can understand and analyze complex issues communicate clearly and structured in both speech and writing collaborate effectively to achieve common goals. It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of administrative law and social insurance law have good knowledge related to subsidy fraud, reclamation, economic crime, and crime prevention work or similar matters have good knowledge of public access to information and secrecy, data protection issues, and other government agency law.
