The Pharmacy Area at Skånes University Hospital (Sus) consists of three hospital pharmacy units that support care units and outpatient clinics with pharmaceutical expertise. The Pharmacy Area has approximately 100 employees, including department pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, case handlers, and chief pharmacists. The majority are based at Sus in Lund and Malmö, but several colleagues are also at the hospitals in Ystad, Trelleborg, and Landskrona. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are now welcoming a department pharmacist to the Hospital Pharmacy Unit in Malmö. Your work tasks are varied and include ordering and unpacking medications, inventory management, maintenance of medication storage, preparing medications for patients, and ensuring good medication economy. In your role as a department pharmacist, you work with supply, handling, and use of medications in care units and at the hospital. You are an important team member consisting of both department pharmacists and pharmacy assistants who together work on quality and safety in medication management. You also work with medication safety issues through activities such as training healthcare personnel and developing procedures and instructions. The hospital pharmacy units at the Pharmacy Area are in a dynamic and developing period, where you as a pharmacist have a good opportunity to influence working methods, participate in projects, and take on special assignments. We also offer good opportunities for professional development within hospital pharmacy and the department pharmacist role. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are an authorized pharmacy technician or an authorized pharmacist, or have equivalent pharmaceutical education and authorization with the right to work in Swedish healthcare. For this position, Swedish language skills are required at least at level C1 according to the European Council's scale. It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of English and work experience from hospital or pharmacy operations in Sweden. An approved course in extemporaneous preparation is meritorious. As a person, you value and promote good cooperation between all professional groups and are accustomed to working independently and taking initiative. You have the ability to see how workflows should be organized for good results. It is important that you are flexible as a person and can reprioritize when needed. Furthermore, you see improvement opportunities in your daily work and have a genuine interest in development and quality issues.
