About Us The Women's Clinic in Karlskrona consists of a maternity ward, postpartum ward, gynecology ward, gynecology outpatient clinic, and operating room. The Women's Clinic also provides women's health services throughout the county. At the gynecology outpatient clinic, you will work with helpful and positive midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, physiotherapists, and physicians. About the Position As department head, you will plan, lead, and develop the clinic based on operational goals. You have primary responsibility for staff, finances, and work environment at the outpatient clinic. You will report directly to the operations manager and participate in the clinic's management team. The role also includes collaborating with other healthcare units both within and outside the clinic. Together with the operations manager and other department heads, you will contribute to the clinic's results and development. The clinic's staff consists of skilled, helpful, and motivated nurses, midwives, social workers, nursing assistants, and a physiotherapist. Operations are conducted in Karlskrona. About You The position requires a university degree, and we would like to see experience working in healthcare. Experience in women's healthcare and/or management experience is a plus. As a leader, you are responsive and clear, with strong social competence and the ability to see the outpatient clinic as part of the larger Women's Clinic. We are looking for someone who is development-oriented, motivated by finding new solutions and collaborations—always with the patient's and employee's best interests in focus. We place great importance on personal suitability. Other Information Candidates who are considered for employment must provide an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record register.
