Isolamin manufactures products and customized solutions within the field of residential and hotel modules as well as sandwich elements, where high demands are placed on sound reduction, durability, tightness, fire safety and aesthetics. The company is in an exciting and expansive phase. New products for new markets are continuously being developed. All manufacturing takes place in Sweden. About the position As Department Manager Structural Steel, you are responsible for planning, management and development of the department that manufactures load-bearing steel structures for our modules. You ensure that production is carried out efficiently, safely and with high quality according to applicable standards and certification requirements. In the role you lead employees in steel manufacturing and work closely with other functions within production, projects and quality. Work duties Lead and develop the structural steel department Take responsibility for production planning, quality and delivery reliability Ensure compliance with certification requirements according to SS-EN 1090 and ISO 3834 Drive improvement and development work within production Personnel responsibility for the department's employees Cooperate with other departments to optimize the production flow The operation In the department we work with tube laser cutting, welding and assembly for manufacturing load-bearing steel structures for modular buildings. Production includes, among other things, floor systems, corridor floor systems, galleries, columns and other steel structures that are part of our module projects. We are looking for you who Have experience from manufacturing within the steel or engineering industry Have previous leadership experience or good prerequisites for taking a leading role Have knowledge of welding, steel structures and production processes Are structured, solution-oriented and have a strong focus on safety and quality Communicate well and enjoy developing both operations and employees Experience of working according to SS-EN 1090 and/or ISO 3834 is desirable.
