Logistics Unit Arvidsjaur supports the units at Arvidsjaur garrison in peacetime, during security policy crises, and in case of armed attack. The Logistics Unit is organized with a staff that coordinates support and has two operational departments for supply and technical services respectively. The Logistics Unit is a dynamic workplace with varying tasks and opportunities for personal development. The Supply Department provides logistics support and meets the garrison's needs for supplies, transportation services, and other operational support for unit production, readiness, mobilization, and operations. In Arvidsjaur, the Supply Department consists of department management and subordinate management, storage, goods/fuel, and service sections, with a smaller part located elsewhere. The workplace is growing in both tasks and personnel in the coming years. Main responsibilities As department chief, you have subordinate section chiefs who lead the operational work, which means your responsibility is to lead through these chiefs while still being visible on the floor. The tasks include, among others: Maintain service levels to customers and maintain inventory of supplies Recruitment Set goals for the operations and steer the department toward these Work with follow-up, inspections, and quality assurance Conduct operations within supply, transportation services, and other logistics Participate in the unit's management group Cooperate with customers and external actors Together with section chiefs, you systematically drive workplace environment work, operational security work, and security work for the entire department Participate in defense planning and exercises Since K 4 is undergoing growth, the scope of tasks and working methods may change. You need to be prepared to perform arising tasks that fall outside the ordinary. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Academic education of 180 credits or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer Class B driver's license manual Good skills in Microsoft Office package Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Personal qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible and can lead and develop the department's work, which includes being solution-oriented and seeing opportunities. Good cooperation skills are required as the work involves contact with many different actors within the garrison and the Swedish Armed Forces. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
