Become a department manager for our three recycling centers! Do you want to lead an operation that every day makes it possible to make better use of what we already have? As a department manager, you have overall responsibility for coordinating the work at our three recycling centers in Linköping: Gärstad, Malmen, and Ullstämma. Together with your team, you also lead the development of the operation – always with reuse and smart resource management in mind. Your responsibilities include Together with your two group managers, be responsible for daily operations at the recycling centers and reuse activities Responsibility for work environment and environmental matters within the operation Responsibility for the facilities at the recycling centers in Gärstad, Malmen, and Ullstämma Participate in and contribute to various development projects Personnel responsibility Budget work and procurement responsibility Drive development toward even more modern, efficient, and circular recycling centers Are you the person we're looking for? We're seeking someone with a strong interest in reuse and sustainable resource management who wants to help create the recycling centers of the future. You are calm and organized, while also having drive and the courage to set direction. As a leader, you are clear, present, and unpretentious. You create engagement and good conditions for all your employees to succeed in their work. Experience and competencies you have Basic management training Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Basic knowledge of economics, budgeting, and contracts Experience in production and work management Knowledge of work environment legislation Knowledge of labor law Experience in waste and recycling operations Class B driver's license Experience with procurement processes is advantageous.
