Work Hours: Varying hours depending on assignment Work Location: Uppsala Position Type: Part-time, ongoing need (6-month probationary period applies) Start Date: By agreement Job Duties: The work involves preventing and managing security risks, controlling access, and ensuring that unauthorized persons do not gain access to protected areas. You are responsible for conducting personnel and vehicle checks, monitoring facilities, and patrolling to detect and prevent threats. More information will be provided during the interview. These are unarmed positions. Qualifications: We're looking for someone with personal maturity who feels confident in the security guard role. Personal qualities are what determine the best fit. You should possess a high level of security awareness and social competence. We place great emphasis on your ability to work in a team, but we also expect you to independently identify and solve problems. For work at certain facilities, a security vetting, enhanced background check, and security interview will be conducted. Requirements: In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe in the various assignments, you must meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: Must be 18 years old before starting the assignment Upper secondary school competence Good Swedish in speech and writing Class B driver's license Civil security guard training (or Military security guard training**, completed from 2016 onwards) Merits include: Security officer training (VU1 + VU2) We place great emphasis on your personal maturity when assessing suitability for the position. The position is classified as security-related and subject to security vetting under Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For positions in certain security classifications, Swedish citizenship is required under security protection legislation. When assessing suitability for a position, we always conduct a comprehensive evaluation. ** If you have completed security guard training as part of military basic training, it is valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2016 or later and the training certificate must not be older than 5 years. If you have received security guard training through the Armed Forces without military basic training, you must complete a shortened security guard training course to work as a civilian security guard.
