As a security guard at Avarn Security, you'll have an exciting role where your task is to strengthen our customers' sense of safety and create a more secure environment. The role demands high levels of responsibility, integrity, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. We are now seeking several security guards for Järna. As a guard on our team, you'll be part of a round-the-clock operation working in many different environments with highly varied tasks. For this reason, you should be able to work long shifts and varying hours. Your main responsibilities will be patrols and alarm response, though other assignments such as stationary security monitoring may also become relevant. Security guards work in many different environments with highly varied tasks—we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a clear service-oriented commitment. We'd also appreciate if you can communicate fluently in English. If you have the right profile for Avarn and advance in the process but don't already hold the required training (VU1, VU2), we'll provide your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted by BYA (The Security Industry's Vocational and Work Environment Committee). Participation in this training is a requirement for employment. Qualifications Beyond the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position. You must be of legal age, have approved high school grades, and hold a B driver's license as this is a vehicle-based position. You must also be of unblemished character*, drug-free, have sound finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Security guard training is a merit on these positions. Other valuable qualifications include experience in the security industry, certain technical skills, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and prior experience working in public environments.
