As a security guard at Avarn Security, you have a societally important mission to protect and monitor protected facilities according to security laws. A security guard's task is to monitor protected facilities and protect against sabotage, espionage, terrorist offenses, and serious robbery. A security guard has special authority to inspect vehicles, conduct body searches, seize items, refuse entry, and detain individuals at a protected facility. Protected facilities are operations that are critical for society to function in peace, crisis, or war. Examples of protected facilities include a nuclear power plant, an airport, or a military installation. We are now seeking additional team members who want to contribute to security at Arlanda Airport. Working Hours: Varying Work Location: Arlanda Airport Duration: Full-time, permanent position with 6-month probationary period Start Date: By agreement Salary: According to collective agreement We offer you an exciting position at Scandinavia's largest protected facility, which will consist of work in security controls and some stationary monitoring. You will work from the security checkpoint as an airport controller but will reinforce our security guard team as needed. High demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the facility. The work requires good collaboration skills and the ability to make good decisions independently. Being communicative and having good physical fitness are necessary to thrive in this position. You need to be flexible and enjoy that work tasks can change with short notice. The working hours are full-time, provided you are approved for required training and receive the licenses applicable for the position. Until then, you will have a 70% employment. You will primarily work as an airport controller in security controls and support monitoring as needed at our various positions, where gates are most common. Working hours are distributed across all hours and days of the week. Interviews are held on a rolling basis. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period starting by agreement with the requirement that you can complete training that will be provided to take employment at Arlanda. The position requires that you can carry a weapon. An assessment conversation will be used for this competency before weapons training takes place. It is meritorious if you are already trained as a security guard and airport controller. If you are not, we will ensure you are trained.
