Automation Technician Are you a driven and solution-oriented automation technician who wants to work with modern technology in a dynamic environment? We are looking for someone who wants to develop, improve, and ensure the operation of our automated systems and equipment. About the Role In the role of automation technician, you will hold a central position working closely with both production and technical teams. You are responsible for ensuring stable operations, developing our automation solutions, and contributing to continuous improvements in our business. The work is varied and combines programming, troubleshooting, and installation with analysis and documentation. An important part of the role is also working systematically and ensuring that work is performed according to established goals, timelines, and applicable safety requirements. Your main areas of responsibility include: · Programming of HMI and PLC controls, where you develop and optimize system functionality · Troubleshooting machines and equipment for electrical problems and conducting root cause analyses documented in the maintenance system · Interpreting and creating electrical drawings and working with electrical panel wiring · Installation and connection of technical equipment such as motors, servo drives, valves, and cameras An important part of the work is contributing to a safe work environment. This also includes: · Conducting risk assessments for work tasks · Working in accordance with machinery directive regulations · Supporting colleagues, such as maintenance electricians, as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience working in automation and industrial systems. We believe you have the following qualities to succeed in this role: · High school diploma in electrical engineering/automation or equivalent competence · Experience with CAD for electrical schematics · Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens S7 · Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written We consider it a merit if you have: · Knowledge of vision camera systems · Experience with project work Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are an engaged person who enjoys taking responsibility and driving your work forward.
