Your Responsibilities As an automation electrician, you'll be part of an experienced maintenance team working closely with production. Here you'll have a role with significant responsibility and autonomy, where you not only solve problems but also help develop how the facility operates. What distinguishes this role is that we have strong in-house automation expertise. The facility is largely custom-developed, which means you won't just follow instructions but will actively influence solutions, improvements, and how systems evolve over time. The role combines troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and development. You'll ensure operations run smoothly while also improving and modernizing the facility. You'll work with: Troubleshooting and resolving acute electrical and automation issues in production Preventive maintenance and planned interventions in the facility PLC work where you adjust and further develop existing programs Replacing and upgrading frequency converters and drive systems Testing motors and equipment in the workshop before commissioning Improvements related to safety and operational reliability Work is approximately 80 percent planned maintenance and 20 percent troubleshooting, providing a good mix between structure and practical problem-solving. You have significant freedom in how you organize your work within given parameters. You'll be part of a five-person team working closely with both production and maintenance. You'll report to a work supervisor. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. On-call duty is included after some time in the role, approximately every sixth or seventh week. Your Profile We're looking for you who work with electrical systems today, perhaps as an automation electrician, industrial/installation electrician, and who wants to move closer to automation. You're experienced in troubleshooting and understanding how things connect, not just replacing parts. If you've worked with PLC or are curious about developing in that area, there's opportunity here. We'd like you to have a few years of experience in electrical work, preferably from industry. We believe you'll recognize yourself in the following: You have experience with electrical work in industry or installation You've worked with troubleshooting and are comfortable with measuring instruments You have understanding of or interest in PLC You've worked with or are familiar with sensors, transducers, frequency converters, and drive systems You're comfortable with Swedish and can understand English manuals Requirements: Electrical engineering education or equivalent training Class B driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience with Allen-Bradley Experience with systems like Maintmaster Experience from process industry Previous experience with on-call duty You're technically curious, enjoy troubleshooting, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and think independently.
