About the Role
Do you want a meaningful job where you can make a real difference for both society and the energy transition? With us, you are part of a socially important operation with exciting projects, cutting-edge technology and colleagues who value each other.
We are now seeking several experienced Automation and Communication Engineers who want to help build the maintenance operations of the future!
We are facing one of Vattenfall Eldistribution's largest initiatives ever – a historic mobilization to build a stronger, more resilient and completely independent capability in maintenance and repair. At a time when the world is placing ever-higher demands on robustness and durability, we are taking decisive steps to ensure an electricity grid that can handle difficult conditions and delivers when needed most.
Responsibilities and Tasks
We are now looking for Automation and Communication Engineers who want to strengthen our technical department. We offer you free and responsible work where you help ensure reliable and modern infrastructure in our facilities around the country. Here you have good opportunities for both technical deepening and personal development in the role.

Here you meet colleagues who are passionate about technology, enjoy sharing their knowledge and take great responsibility for both quality and safety.

Help develop design, procurement of materials, construction, implementation, installation and commissioning
Manage supplier and contractor contacts
Our work takes place in environments that sometimes involve great heights and potential risks, which means that safety and risk awareness are always at the center. At the same time, our daily work is characterized by collaboration, problem-solving and the opportunity to work closely with the technology that keeps Sweden's electricity grid running. Travel is a natural part of the work, mostly during the day but overnight stays also occur.
Requirements Specification
Our way of working is characterized by freedom under responsibility and as a person you are therefore driven by taking on challenges, solving problems and reaching set goals. Since you will have contact with both internal and external contacts, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
In addition to your personal qualities, we would like you to have:
Education in telecommunications, automation or electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience that the employer considers equivalent
Several years of experience working in telecommunications, automation or electrical engineering
