We are now seeking several experienced Automation and Communication Engineers who want to be part of building the maintenance operations of the future! Responsibilities and Tasks We are now seeking Automation and Communication Engineers who want to strengthen our technical department. In the Technology & Control Systems Department, approximately 50 engineers work with specialized expertise in automation, communication, control equipment, and design. Your Role as an Automation and Communication Engineer Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation and communication equipment Participate in projects involving retrofitting and new construction of automation and communication solutions and ensure implementation of new ongoing projects in the area Be part of developing design, procuring materials, construction, implementation, installation, and commissioning Handle supplier and contractor contacts Our work takes place in environments that sometimes involve high altitudes and potential risks, which means safety and risk awareness are always at the center. At the same time, our daily work is characterized by collaboration, problem-solving, and the opportunity to work close to the technology that keeps Sweden's electricity grid running. Travel is a natural part of the work, mostly during the day but overnight stays do occur. Requirements Specification Our approach is characterized by freedom with responsibility, and as a person you are therefore driven by tackling challenges, solving problems, and achieving set goals. Since you will have contact with both internal and external contacts, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. In addition to your personal qualities, we would like you to have: Education in telecommunications, automation, or electrical power, or alternatively equivalent practical experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience working in telecommunications, automation, or electrical power Experience with technology such as fiber optics and radio-based communication, for example 4G and radio links, station bus-based networks according to IEC61850 standard, and IP-based networks You find it easy to express yourself in both Swedish and English in writing and speech. Driving license category B is a requirement.
