Responsibilities and Tasks We are now looking for Automation and Communications Engineers who want to strengthen our technology department. In the Technology & Control Systems Department, approximately 50 engineers work with specialist expertise in automation, communications, control equipment and design. Your Role as an Automation and Communications Engineer Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation and communications equipment Participate in renovation and new construction projects for automation and communications solutions and ensure implementation of new, ongoing projects in the area Help develop design, procure materials, construct, implement, install and commission systems Manage supplier and contractor contacts Our work takes place in environments that sometimes involve significant heights and potential risks, which is why safety and risk awareness are always at the center. At the same time, our daily work is characterized by collaboration, problem-solving and the opportunity to work close to the technology that keeps Sweden's electricity grid running. Travel is a natural part of the work, mostly day trips but overnight travel also occurs. Job Specification Our approach is characterized by freedom with responsibility, and as a person you are therefore driven by taking on challenges, solving problems and reaching set goals. Since you will have contact with both internal and external contacts, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. In addition to your personal qualities, we would like you to have: Education in telecommunications, automation or electrical power, or equivalent practical experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience working in telecommunications, automation or electrical power Experience with technology such as fiber optics and radio-based communications, for example 4G and radio links, station bus-based networks according to the IEC61850 standard and IP-based networks You communicate easily in both Swedish and English, in writing and speech. Driving License Category B is a requirement.
