The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a regional clinic within the Sensory Center, Region Östergötland, responsible for all healthcare in the region specializing in ear, nose, and throat medicine. As a university clinic, we have three main missions: to provide specialized care, education, and research and development. Region Östergötland operates three hearing care clinics with approximately 60 employees, and we are now seeking a colleague to join our team in Norrköping at Vrinnevi Hospital! Job Description We are looking for someone who wants a broad and varied challenge in your role as an audiologist. With us, you can work with the entire care chain – from diagnostics to rehabilitation and habilitation. Your tasks may include: Objective and psychoacoustic measurement methods. Support and follow-up of patients with hearing impairment. In-depth rehabilitative interventions within hearing care. Our mission also includes providing care at health centers throughout the region to increase accessibility for patients. Therefore, a driving license (Class B) is meriting. As a new team member, you will work with various professional categories with varying experience. We offer excellent opportunities to develop in your role as an audiologist, and depending on your interests, there are opportunities for further education and specialization. Specialization could include pediatric habilitation, tinnitus rehabilitation, or balance measurements. You will be met by friendly and dedicated colleagues. Work Team At Vrinnevi Hospital, six audiologists currently work in a dynamic and knowledgeable operation. You will become part of an interprofessional team with various professions, where many collaborate across the region. Parts of the operation have recently moved into brand new, modern facilities with a thoughtfully designed work environment that creates excellent conditions for both focus and collaboration. About You You are a licensed audiologist, preferably with professional experience. Practical experience as an audiologist is meriting, as is prior work in patient-facing care. We are looking for someone with good communication skills, who is flexible and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You have a good and professional approach, work in a patient-centered manner, and always prioritize the patient's needs. As a person, you are organized, responsible, and have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work to contribute to efficient patient flow and high quality of care.
