At the Neuro Head-Neck Center (NHHC), approximately 650 employees work to diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate diseases and injuries of the nervous system, brain, ears, nose, throat, and jaw. The center is a regional clinic providing highly specialized care for patients from the entire northern healthcare region. We also conduct successful research, education, and development. The Hearing Center's operations are part of NHHC with clinics in Umeå, Skellefteå, and Lycksele. As a regional clinic, we work from a holistic perspective, striving to use our combined resources in a way that benefits the entire region, for efficient, equitable, and quality care. Our operations work in teams focused on specialized areas such as severe hearing impairment, cochlear implants (CI), severe hearing impairment, children, and tinnitus. In Skellefteå and Umeå hearing centers, there is also an affiliated technical workshop that performs installations, repairs, and technical support. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a team with experienced and knowledgeable colleagues who are happy to share their expertise. As an audiologist, you will have an important role where you follow the patient through the entire care pathway and contribute to improved quality of life for patients. JOB DUTIES As an audiologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. Your work as an audiologist includes diagnostics, needs assessment, fitting and prescribing of hearing aids and other hearing assistance devices. The work also includes record keeping and certain administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory management. You follow and are responsible for the patient through the entire care pathway, from referral to functioning hearing aid. The work requires a strong sense of service and the ability to adapt based on operational needs. It is important to be able to prioritize and work toward both personal and shared goals. You contribute to good patient flow and quality care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed audiologist. Experience in the tinnitus field is meritorious. Good language skills in Swedish in both speech and writing are required. We attach great importance to the ability to independently plan and perform your work and collaborate with colleagues. It is self-evident to us that you have good treatment toward patients, colleagues, and other parties we cooperate with. If you have experience in the tinnitus field, it is meritorious.
