The Hearing Team for Children and Adolescents in Skövde is seeking you—someone who excels at building trusting and positive relationships with children and is passionate about developing your professional expertise in audiology. Working as a pediatric audiologist with us means developing skills in both diagnostics and rehabilitation. We work flexibly with all aspects of audiology in close collaboration with the Hearing and Balance Clinic. We also work solution-focused with various technical solutions (for example, bimodal fittings, bone-conduction hearing aids, and school assistive devices). We function as an interdisciplinary team committed to achieving the best care for our patients and guardians. We are a driven and dedicated group focused on patient care. We are now seeking an audiologist for a permanent position. Responsibilities As part of our team, you will: Perform age-appropriate diagnostics and specialized measurements, such as newborn screening and auditory brainstem response. Perform hearing aid fittings and other assistive device adjustments based on the child's specific needs. Work both independently and collaboratively with various professionals through joint team planning and coordination with other services regarding the child's need for habilitation services. Participate in parent education and group activities. Contribute to regional networks for pediatric audiologists and supervise students. Qualifications We are seeking someone who: Is a licensed audiologist. Has clinical experience, preferably as a pediatric audiologist, or is eager to deepen your knowledge in pediatric audiology and habilitation. Is independent, flexible, and skilled at collaboration and building strong relationships. Personal suitability is given significant weight. Does this sound like something for you?
