Description The hearing care service operates throughout Västra Götalandsregionen and provides support and treatment to people with permanent hearing loss, deafness, and deafblindness of all ages. The hearing care service in Southern Älvsborg has clinics in Borås and Alingsås. Collaboration takes place with Ear, Nose, and Throat clinics, other activities within Habilitation & Health, user organizations, colleges, and universities. We are seeking a licensed audiologist for a permanent position at our audiology clinic, with primary placement in Borås. We are also seeking an audiologist for a 6-month temporary position. Job Responsibilities As an audiologist in our unit, you work with both audiological diagnostics and rehabilitation. Interventions are based on a holistic approach where the audiologist collaborates with other professionals in working with patients/family members. Qualifications You must be a licensed audiologist. We are looking for someone with an interest in clinical work in hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation. Great importance is placed on good collaboration skills and personal suitability. It is important that the person we seek fits well into the work team and wants to be part of the future development of the service. It is meritorious if you have experience working with Auditbase, Noah, and Melior.
