Speech-Language Pathologist

Rēzeknes novada pašvaldības Multifunctional Social Services Center "Vecružina" is hiring SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST for an indefinite period Key Responsibilities: diagnosis, correction, and rehabilitation of speech/language, communication, and oropharyngeal function disorders in center clients with functional and mental impairments; development and implementation of audiological and speech-language pathology assessment and rehabilitation plans in accordance with client needs; selection of appropriate correction methods for clients' speech/language, communication, and oropharyngeal function disorders, taking into account the severity of the client's condition; completion of documentation related to audiological and speech-language pathology correction procedures, provision of progress reports (opinions) and recommendations regarding the client's speech and language status to the rehabilitation team and guardians; collaboration with all specialists involved in client rehabilitation within the scope of professional competence; documentation of professional activities. Required Competencies for Task Performance: higher education with professional qualification as a speech-language pathologist; psychological resilience and high interpersonal skills; ability to establish professional cooperation with institution staff, clients, and their guardians; proficient computer skills; ability to work in a team; electronic signature; state language skills at an advanced level.
