As an attraction mechanic, you work with service, maintenance, and repair of Gröna Lund's roller coasters and attractions. The work is varied and consists of both planned preventive maintenance and emergency interventions when something unexpected occurs during operation. One day you might work methodically with safety inspections and planned repairs in the workshop, the next day you troubleshoot an operational failure out in the park. Safety is always our top priority. Every decision you make affects the safety of our guests and colleagues, which places high demands on thoroughness, good judgment, and a calm working approach, even when the pace is high. Work tasks include, among others: Preventive service and maintenance of our attractions Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems Safety inspections Work in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics Emergency maintenance during ongoing operations Work at height during maintenance of our attractions Who are you? We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who enjoys understanding how complex machines and systems work. You have a technical or mechanical background education or equivalent work experience, for example as a mechanic, service technician, or industrial mechanic. You have experience with methodical troubleshooting and enjoy analyzing problems to find sustainable solutions. At the same time, you are flexible and can quickly adapt when the business requires it. As a person, you are unpretentious and enjoy collaborating with others. You share your knowledge, ask for help when needed, and contribute to a work environment where the team always comes first. Since the role involves close contact with both colleagues and guests, you are service-oriented and communicate in a safe and professional manner. You speak and read Swedish fluently. Knowledge of English is a merit. About the position Working hours are during daytime; during the season, evening and weekend work are included. The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Start by mutual agreement. Salary by mutual agreement. Application The application deadline is August 25.
