At the Infrastructure and Environmental Protection Department, more than 180 employees work with infrastructure and environmental protection in our municipality. We are responsible for planning and operation of construction projects, road networks, parking areas, public spaces, parks, waste management, and water treatment and supply plants. WORK TASKS As recycling personnel at Alingsås Municipality, you work at our recycling center, commonly called "plattan." You meet residents who visit us to dispose of their waste, and your main task is to give them good service and guide them to proper sorting. The role also includes: • Daily operation and maintenance of the recycling center • Handling and moving containers and waste using truck, wheel loader, and other machinery • Inspection and sorting of incoming waste • Contributing to safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • B driving license • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is meriting if you have: • Previous experience from recycling centers, logistics, or waste management • Experience operating machinery (wheel loader, etc.) • Wheel loader certificate (C2) • Forklift certificate (A/B) As a person, you are service-oriented and confident in meeting people, and you find it easy to help and provide clear information. You can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying collaboration and contributing to the team. A positive attitude and commitment to environmental and recycling issues are additional qualities we value. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
